Some projects in INTERMAC Stone machines have been described in this page with supporting photos
ICAM software training for INTERMAC Stone Machine
There was a project regarding software training for a new operator in Moorebank for INTERMAC MASTER 33CT, Stone CNC center.
Including basic stone and special recess tools for making drainer and under-mounts.
HSD spindle encoder issue
Another project was regarding spindle problem in Moorebank, Sydney.
The issue was the encoder reader inside the spindle.
The reader has been changed and everything put back carefully.
The other problem was tool changing position in both magazines, which has been done, afterward.
INTERMAC Stone machine C axis issue
Next project was in Prestons, Sydney.
The problem was a broken pin inside C axis rotation gear.
First I tried to take the pin out, but it fell through. Then started to pull out the whole part and take it to the machining shop for fixing.
In a close machining shop the inside part was removed and tapped again.
Then the whole C axis assembly was put back very careful.
C axis accuracy has been checked by a dial indicator and readjusted in the software.
HSD Spindle sensors
The other project was in Smithfield,
They had problems with the tool presence sensor and needed to change the air system filters.
Spindle checked and sensors readjusted.
Air filter and air line’s oil filter changed.
Lubrication function and distributors have been checked for normal flow of grease and X axis nut has been lubricated. Then showed the customer how to do that every week.
X axis alarm on INTERMAC stone machine
The other project was an X axis alarm in Moorebank, Sydney.
The Yaskawa servopack catalog checked for the reason.
It says the servopack is gone and has to be replaced.
The reason was a short circuit in the servo motor connection socket, between U,V,W and the earth, which was found after diagnostic and test.
Then after servopack arrival via DHL, it was changed.
Water pump replacement
The other project was in Moorebank, NSW, regarding pedal issue and water pump replacement.
Water flow meter device
The other project was in Smithfield, NSW.
Machine got a problem for internal water flow and after checking the flow meter with the technician, the Al part was snapped off.
After starting over, I realised that the error from the flow meter is ok and really we didn’t have internal water flow.
After diagnosis the problem found in valve 2/2 on top of the spindle.
.
The part was ordered later that day and changed the following day.
